Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirements must next go through the selection process to enroll in the course. This involves two important aspects:1. Passed the Management Entrance Exam.
Even if one meet the fundamental requirements for pursuing an MBA, most reputable universities demand a valid score on one of the nationally recognized management admission exams. Some of the most generally acknowledged management tests, with scores accepted by institutions, include the CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, and CMAT. Some universities may also offer their own management admission tests, which serve as the foundation for the subsequent selection process.
2. Clearing the Rounds of Personal Screening and Interview
Once an individual has met the university's cut-off for a specific management entrance exam, the university will screen their portfolio. The screening process also involves a round of Personal Interviews (PIs), which the candidate must pass in order to be accepted into the MBA program.
